If I'm going to bamboozle the mes out of a really big pile of money, as requested by the banks and insurance companies whose money got me elected, I'm going to bamboozle them into thinking I am a pious, dependable believer in christian (the lower case letter is intentional)morals, ethics, reasoning, and issues of the day. Who would believe that such a righteous gent as I would purposely steal from sick kids and their grandparents, or purposely lie about labor unions as instructed by corporations to do. The republicans have been pulling that dodge for twenty years now, and it has been making them look as ridiculous as a clown in our political circus.
