How do you price a handmade quilt?

I think you need to tailor the quilts to the selling market, rather than making gorgeous quilts that don't sell. I know that's a bit nonsensical, but save the complicated ones for presents for your loved ones. Test the water on an online site with one fairly simple one of the 30 x 40 cot quilt size you mention, say at $100 or �50 and see if you get any response.
