Normal blood sugar level?

i've been periodically testing my blood sugars fasting, before meals, after meals, etc.. i had a routine blood test done a few months ago and it said that my fasting glucose level was 111 (pre-diabetic) but after buying the trutrack tester i've been testing myself and it appears i'm normal. today i tested myself after i ate a cheeseburger, fries and a small cookie and i tested at 97 about 1 and 1/2 or 2 hours (not sure) after eating that. so again i think that's normal so i'm really wondering if the test i took was botched. i am getting a a1c or whatever that diabetic test is in a few months.
